Information we collect and store
Public intake and order flows collect service type, state, requested timing, email, company or platform name, matter description, selected order items, payment status, and delivery progress. Account systems primarily store email addresses, necessary sign-in records, and order data. Hosting and security systems may also process IP address, browser type, request time, page address, and abuse-prevention records.
Free tools
The formation-readiness, sales-tax fact finder, e-commerce records checklist, and tax-notice date tools run locally in the browser. Tool fields are not sent to ABS or retained. If a visitor leaves a tool for the intake form, only information separately entered and submitted through that form is sent.
Email verification codes and account security
Account sign-in or order confirmation may use email verification codes. Codes are generally valid for 10 minutes and must be requested again after they expire. Do not forward a code to anyone else; actions made with your email, code, or session are handled as account-security records.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. ABS receives order identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, receipt email, and accounting records needed to administer the order, but ABS does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe's own terms and privacy rules also apply to payment data.
Mobile numbers and text messages
ABS sends text messages only to mobile numbers you have given us together with your express consent, provided by ticking an unchecked box at checkout or in a signed engagement document. Messages cover order status, service progress, filing deadline reminders, and one-time verification codes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and no mobile information is sold, rented, or transferred to any third party for its own marketing; numbers are disclosed only to the licensed carrier that delivers the message on our behalf, and only for that delivery. Message frequency varies with your account and filing activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not close your account; we continue to reach you by email. For every consent and every opt-out we record the date, time, IP address, and the exact wording displayed.
How we use information
We use information to answer inquiries, confirm scope, process fixed-price orders, verify accounts, save application progress, send necessary service or security messages, prevent spam and attacks, troubleshoot, maintain records, and meet applicable legal obligations. ABS does not sell information and does not use it for behavioral advertising.
How information is handled by providers
The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, security, and database functions. Intake data reaches ABS through a protected internal relay, and payment data is handled by Stripe. When necessary to provide an accepted service, ABS may also provide relevant information to approved service providers, government agencies, or people designated by the client. We do not sell or publish client information for third-party marketing convenience.
Cookies and sign-in
Public content and free tools do not require an account. Account and order functions use strictly necessary security session cookies to maintain sign-in; they are configured with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite protections. The current site does not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
ABS retains information for periods needed to answer inquiries, provide services, maintain security records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Different records have different needs, so this notice does not promise one retention period. We use access restrictions, input validation, rate limits, password hashing, and security response headers, but internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed absolutely secure.
Your choices
You may use the secure intake form to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted. ABS will first verify identity and will determine the available action under applicable law and service, tax-record, and security obligations. Browser controls can restrict cookies, but disabling a necessary cookie prevents portal sign-in.
Children, international processing, and external sites
This site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where ABS or its providers operate. A third party's own privacy terms apply after you leave this site.
